Red Lake brothers vanish without a trace

Authorities are trying to figure out what happened to two brothers who disappeared on the Red Lake Reservation in Minnesota.

Tristan A. White, 4, and Avery Lee Stately, 2, were last seen playing in front of their home on Wednesday morning. After a massive ground and air search, there are no clues to their whereabouts.

That means it's likely the boys were abducted, according to an expert. But the head FBI special agent said it's possible the brothers are still on the reservation. Agent Paul McCabe told WCCO-AM on Tuesday that the FBI has ruled out abduction by a relative.

"We feel fairly confident that no relatives have the children, as we've been able to track down all the immediate family and next-line relatives," McCabe said in an interview.

The FBI is offering a $20,000 reward for information about the boys. Anyone with information should contact the FBI at 612-376-3200, or the Red Lake Tribal Police Department at 218-679-3313.
