The Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma plans to sell bonds to finance the construction of a $130 million hospital.
The tribal council voted 10-2 to approve the bond measure, which will cover $90 million. The remaining $40 million will come from other sources.
The 71-bed hospital will provide health care to all members of federally recognized tribes.
