"I would like to encourage support from the voters for Ron Volesky as South Dakota's next attorney general. Mr. Volesky has the education, knowledge and experience to represent the people of South Dakota. He is a graduate of Huron Senior High School and received his B.A. from Harvard University. He received his law degree from the University of South Dakota, along with numerous academic honors and recognitions. He has 16 years of experience in the South Dakota Legislature and 26 years of private practice as an attorney.
Over the years, he has served South Dakota as vice chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, the state Senate's Commerce, Transportation and Retirement Laws Committee, co-chairman of the South Dakota Penitentiary Study Commission, Legislature's State-Tribal Relation Committee, co-chairman of a special Task Force on Water Development, and State Affairs Committee and Bonding Committee. These are just a few of his credits."
