AT&T Oklahoma is donating $1.5 million to the University of Oklahoma Foundation to create a scholarship for Native students.
Native students who are pursuing technology-related degrees or are the first in their family to attend college are eligible for the scholarship. Awards will range from $1,000 to $2,500 for 38 students each year.
OU has about 1,600 Native students.
