The Comanche Nation of Oklahoma is conducting radar tests to find potential burial sites at Fort Sill.
The tests are being conducted at a housing construction site. An unknown number of tribal members were buried in the area following a cholera or smallpox epidemic about 100 years ago.
Preliminary tests show at least 11 unmarked graves at a housing construction site
If the graves are confirmed, the tribe will work with Fort Sill to preserve them.
