A fire is burning underground at a dump on the Torres Martinez Cahuilla Reservation in California.
The dump has been closed by a federal judge for violating federal environmental guidelines.
The fire, however, still poses a threat to an estimated 7,000 people who live within a mile of the site.
The fire has been burning since last month. If it is not controlled, crews say it could burn for 10 years.
