HBO is casting a TV version of "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee" starring Native actors Adam Beach and August Schellenberg.
Filming starts in southern Alberta later this month. Natives from the area are being sought for work as extras.
The book was written by Dee Brown. It covers the Battle of the Little Bighorn, the murders of Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse and the massacre at Wounded Knee.
