The Ponca Tribe is planning to buy buildings at the former Nebraska Christian College campus in Norfolk.
The tribe wants to use the administrative building and gymnasium for office space, to provide services and to host cultural activities. Uses for the dorms and other parts of the campus are still being decided.
The campus is vacant because the college moved to Omaha.
The Ponca Tribe has been landless for most of the past century but has been acquiring land recently.
