Members of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of the Mohican Nation are returning home to Massachusetts this weekend.
The tribe will share its culture and history for a three-day event in Pittsfield. Mayor James M. Ruberto will honor the tribe at a City Hall ceremony on Friday. A celebration and powwow will be held on Saturday and Sunday.
The tribe lived in Massachusetts and other parts of New England before being removed to New York and then to Wisconsin.
