The Pechanga Band of Luise�o Indians has reached an agreement with a water district in California.
Chairman Mark Macarro called the deal with the Rancho California Water District a "win-win." He said it would ensure the tribe and water users have a reliable supply in the future.
The tribe and the district will share an aquifer that has seen heavy demand. The tribe wants more water in order to support its economic development projects.
