Hualapai Tribe still working on Grand Canyon skywalk

Some tourists are already showing up to the Grand Canyon in hopes of experiencing the Hualapai Tribe's latest attraction: a glass skywalk 4,000 feet above the canyon.

But the skywalk at Grand Canyon West, the tribe's destination spot, isn't open yet. The horseshoe-shaped structure was expected to be completed by midsummer but the tribe is still working on it.

When it's finally open the public, the tribe hopes it will be a big draw. More than 250,000 people visit the western rim of the Grand Canyon, representing a potentially huge source of income for the tribe.
