A businessman originally from Austria wants to build a plant that can turn garbage into diesel fuel on the Puyallup Reservation in Washington.
Michael Spitzauer, the CEO of Michael Spitzauer, says the plant will be environmentally friendly. But legal troubles here and abroad could cause problems for the project.
Michael Turnipseed, a member of the Puyallup Tribe, is more concerned about the potential of the plant. He is planning to lease his land to Spitzauer.
