The Florida Power & Light Co. has agreed to remove power lines from the Seminole Tribe's reservation in Hollywood.
Two transmission lines were located on the reservation. Some local residents raised
concerns about loss of property values and health and safety.
The company had a lease with the tribe but the agreement is not being renewed.
The lines will be relocated to new routes by April 2007.
