The Tulalip Tribes of Washington plan to make some big changes at the Quil Ceda Village.
The tribe created the village as a business district. It is home to the tribe's casino, a Home Depot, a Wal-Mart, an amphitheater and other retail development.
The tribe is now planning to add a 12-story hotel, four-story office building and museum. The project will break ground July 12 and will be complete by spring 2008.
Future plans include another hotel tower, a recreational-vehicle park, a possible water park and some manufacturing space.
