Two Australian Aboriginal brothers, ages 10 and 6, were pulled over by police officers after embarking on a 76-mile journey to see their mother and grandfather.

Robert Wetherall, 10, and Kevin Wetherall, 6, were at an Aboriginal gathering with their grandmother in Boggabilla. When Kevin got upset and asked for his mother, Robert got the keys to his grandmother's car and started driving. Their mother was with their grandfather about 76 miles away.

The boys made it more than 50 miles before being pulled over. Officers said Robert was driving safely, probably more so than other drivers on the highway. The boys are both safe at home now.
