A company owned by the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians has landed a contract to design and build facilities at the Institute of American Indian Arts.
IKBI will design and build an education center and a dormitory at the school's campus in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The contract is worth $15 million.
IAIA's budget for fiscal year 2007 will be $6.7 million under the Interior appropriations bill passed by the House last week.
