A member of the Kickapoo Tribe of Kansas was arrested for allegedly stabbing her sister to death.
Kelly L. Humphrey, 28, was stabbed early Saturday morning in Goff, a town near the Kickapoo Reservation. The Nemaha County Sheriff's Department placed Humphrey's 26-year-old sister, Jennifer Ross, in custody pending the filing of charges.
Humphrey was a certified nursing assistant who had worked at the Indian Trails Mental Health Living Center and other health facilities in the area. Services are being held today at the Kickapoo Community Building on the reservation.
