The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe of Massachusetts is seeing support for its federal recognition.
The tribe won preliminary approval on March 31. Since then, several towns on Cape Cod have passed non-binding resolution in support of the tribe's case.
The Bureau of Indian Affairs is finalizing its decision on the tribe in March 2008.
