A group of Puyallup tribal members dissatisfied with their leadership made a strong showing in the tribe's recent primary.
Two Full Circle candidates were among the top vote-getters for seats on the council. A third Full Circle candidate missed the cut by one vote. The general election takes place June 8.
Full Circle was formed to oppose the leaders on the tribal council. According to The Tacoma News Tribune, the makeup of the council hasn't changed in nine years.
