Crow words added to state highway signs

The Crow Tribe is the first in Montana to add tribal words to state highway signs.

The tribe put Crow place names on four signs. One of them is Baaxuwuaashe, which means flour mill, otherwise known as Crow Agency.

The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes are adding place names to dozens of signs on the Flathead Reservation.
