Tohono O'odham woman killed before wedding date

Ronda Lynn Leatherwood, a member of the Tohono O'odham Nation of Arizona, was killed on Saturday afternoon after being hit by a truck in Tucson.

Leatherwood, a 31-year-old mother of three, was getting ready to get married. Her fiance, Lewis "Billy" Parks, said they were going to go shopping for a blue wedding dress because blue was her favorite color.

The driver hit Leatherwood as she was crossing a street with Parks. It is not known whether the driver was drinking.
