The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians donated more than $1.2 million to 90 local governments and charities.
For the past 11 years, the tribe has donated money to local groups. �We have been in similar situations, in so many instances, so we know what it is like to do without,�� Milanovich said during the annual donation event, The Palm Springs Desert Sun reported.
Recipients included the Braille Institute, Arthritis Foundation, Cathedral City Boxing Club, California State University San Bernardino Palm Desert, Coachella Valley Boys & Girls Club, the Compulsive Gambling Institute, Guide Dogs of the Desert, Hanson House Foundation, Martha�s Village & Kitchen and Smile Factory of the Tiempo de los Ninos, the paper said.
