The Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohicans of Wisconsin gave out $42,000 in gift certificates to employees and tribal members.
The 800-plus employees and tribal members who work at local businesses will be able to use the certificates at local retailers. Each certificate is worth $50.
The tribe is based in northern Wisconsin.
