Natives with disabilities ask governments for help


Native people living with disabilities are trying to get the Canadian government and their First Nations to do more to help.

A committee that was formed at the recent National Aboriginal Disabilities Conference will lobby the Canadian government for more funding. The group wants to create on-reserve programs so that people with disabilities can stay close to home.
