Australia's first all-Aboriginal feature film swept the country's annual film awards on Thursday night.
"Ten Canoes" won six Australian Film Institute awards, including best picture and best original screenplay. The film stars an entirely Aboriginal cast and is mostly told in the Ganalbingu language.
The movie tells the story of Dayindi, a man who covets one of his older brother's wives. It cost about $1.5 million to make.
