A Ho-Chunk Nation judge overturned the ouster of George Lewis as president of the Wisconsin tribe.
In a near unanimous vote on November 11, tribal members remove Lewis from office. They cited disappointment with his handling of a marketing contract.
But Lewis went to court and obtained an injunction from a judge on Tuesday. He apparently returned to work on Thursday.
