A report of armed people at a high school on the Navajo Nation turned out to be based on miscommunication.
The Ganado High School in Ganado, Arizona, was placed on lockdown on Wednesday. There were initial reports of a male with a gun and five females with knives.
But no weapons were found and an FBI spokesperson said misunderstanding stemmed from poor cell phone coverage. The school was kept on lockdown as a precaution.
