The results of the recent Comanche Nation election are being challenged.
Incumbent chairman Wallace Coffey was re-elected by just 52 votes. Challenger Michael Burgess filed a petition with the election board to challenge the results.
Burgess says Coffey appointed new members of the election board without approval of the tribal council. Burgees was the tribe's former administrator until Coffey fired him during the race.
