Japanese students exposed to Indian culture

Japanese college students are being exposed to Indian culture as part of their stay in Oklahoma.

Three dozens students are taking part in the Japan-America Student Conference. They received a crash course in Indian issues at the University of Oklahoma on Wednesday.

"The only thing I know about the Native American is a movie about the western United States," Japanese student Marie Kanke told The Oklahoman.

The students are headed to the American Indian Exposition in Anadarko today. They are in Oklahoma for four days total.
