A two-year-old toddler is in critical condition after falling out a window at an apartment complex that was developed by an Indian housing corporation in Minneapolis.
The two-year-old and another child were playing near the window when the two-year-old somehow pushed up against the window screen and fell through. A passerby witnessed the fall and called police.
The incident occurred at the Many Rivers East apartment complex that was developed by the American Indian Housing and Community Development Corporation. Jim Graham, the planning and development director of the corporation, said state law needs to be changed to require more secure window screens.
