Floods caused by more than four days of rain prompted an evacuation of some residents of Laguna Pueblo, New Mexico, The Cibola County Beacon reports.
Several roads and bridges in the western part of the reservation were closed due to heavy storms. Some homes next to the Rio San Jose suffered damaged and some parts of the village of Seama are flooded with mud and debris.
The tribe is trying to restore access to the area but only one road was open to outgoing traffic as of Monday afternoon.
