Isleta Pueblo woman pleads guilt to DUI deaths


A woman from Isleta Pueblo in New Mexico pleaded guilty in connection with a drunk-driving accident that claimed the lives of three young people.

Camille Lente, 22, faces a maximum of 28 years in prison for three counts of involuntary manslaughter and one count of serious bodily injury. She admitted to drinking as many as 19 beers before heading out on the road last December.

While driving on the reservation, she hit another car. Her passenger, Anthony Tewaheftwa, 18, and two passengers in the truck she hit, Andres Murillo, 12, and Joshua Romero, 17, were killed.

Jessica Murillo, the driver of the truck, suffered severe injuries and is recovering.
