The Saginaw Chippewa Tribe of Michigan passed a new ordinance to regulate the sale of fireworks on the reservation.
The ordinance was written in response to heated competition between two fireworks dealers. One dealer had apparently put up signs criticizing the other dealer.
The ordinance [PDF]
restricts dealers to three signs. "Disparaging or demeaning language" may not be used.
