About 500 people attended the grand opening of the new cultural center and museum at Acoma Pueblo, near Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Tribal leaders said the Sky City Cultural Center and Haak�u Museum represented the past and future of the pueblo. It houses the tribe's historic archives and serves as a tourist destination.
The tribe's old center was destroyed by fire in May 2000.
