The Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska is holding its 140th annual powwow on July 27-30.
The powwow is billed as the oldest in North America. It commemorates Chief Little Priest, a Winnebago chief who was born in Wisconsin but was forced to move with the tribe to Nebraska.
The powwow is being held at Veterans Memorial Park on U.S. 75 east of Winnebago.
