The 8th Circuit Court of Appeals last week affirmed the voluntary manslaughter conviction of a man from the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation in South Dakota.

Theodore Two Crow was convicted for the November 2004 death of Larry John Yellow Earring. The two had been in a fight on the reservation.

Two Crow said he didn't get a fair trial because prosecutors introduced improper evidence while newly discovered evidence was not entered into the record. But the 8th Circuit said the evidence was not prejudicial to the Two Crow, and that the new evidence wouldn't have led to an acquittal.
