Participants in the Sacred Run 2006 are halfway through their 4,000-mile journey from San Francisco to Washington, D.C.
The 50 or so runners made it to Oklahoma last week. They are expected to leave Tulsa today as they head into Arkansas.
The group expects to arrive in the nation's capitol on Earth Day, April 22. Organizers are calling attention to the sacred relationship between humans and the Earth.
