The family of Sunshine Wood, the Native teenager who went missing two years ago on February 20, 2004, still holds out hope that she will be found alive.
Wood was last seen outside a hotel in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She had moved to the city from the Gods River First Nation to attend high school. She was 16 at the time and would now be 18 years old.
In hopes of generating leads, police released a videotape that showed Wood may have been talking to a male at the hotel. But they say they have no new information about the case, one of many involving Native women and teens.
