The Navajo Nation has extended an invitation for President Bush to visit the reservation, Navajo Nation Vice President Frank Dayish Jr. said.
Last Friday, Dayish attended a dinner with Bush. He said he spoke to him about education funding for math and sciences.
Back home in Window Rock, Arizona, the capitol of the Navajo Nation, Dayish spoke to NASA officials on cultural issues. Tribal educators are working with NASA's Education and Public Outreach Program to develop educational materials on space and science.
