Five people, including a 16-year-old Indian girl, made their first court appearance for gang-related shooting in Rapid City that forced an Indian family from their home.

Gary Wright Jr., 18, Antonio Dreamer, 19, Rani Bear Heels, 16, Patrick Marshall, 18, and Ezra Chee, 20, face various murder and assault charges. They are allegedly involved in the early morning shooting on December 12 in which bullet fragments hit a 6-year-old girl and her 4-year-old sister, sending them to the hospital. The intended targets were people who lived in an adjoining house.

Dania Stranger Horse and her daughters are now staying in an undisclosed location. Fearing for her family's safety, Stranger Horse isn't moving back and donations are being sought to help the family move.
