Native Voice, an independent newspaper focusing on national Native news and issues, is moving is home office to Washington, D.C.
Publisher Frank King said the office will move within six months to a year. The paper will continue to be published in Rapid City, South Dakota, where a bureau will be based.
Tim Giago, the founder of the Lakota Times/Indian Country Today, told The Rapid City Journal that the move "opens up a whole new venue for people in the arts and entertainment world."
