Police in Independence, Missouri, are seeking any information about Lakota R. Renville, a 22-year-old Indian woman whose body was found earlier this week on Sunday.
Renville's death is being treated as a homicide. She was found in an open gravel lot and her body had been wrapped in a blanket and carpet padding.
Renville lived in the northeast Kansas City area for the past two years. She was a member of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Sioux Tribe, according to a local resident who emailed Indianz.Com.
