The Oneida Nation of New York has donated $5,000 to Oglala Lakota College in South Dakota for student scholarships.
The donation will enable five students to receive $1,000 scholarships. It costs $6,000 per semester to attend the college.
OLC is chartered by the Oglala Sioux Tribe.
