The Hoopa Valley Tribe of northern California is seeing success with its new modular home construction company.
Hoopa Modular Building Enterprise made its debut only a month ago. But orders are already backed up for three months, according to The Eureka Reporter.
The company employs 60 people, most of whom are tribal members. It has been providing affordable homes to buyers in the Los Angeles area and in other California cities. Current regulations limit the tribe to sell inside the state.
