A $60,000 grant from the Robinson Rancheria Tribe of Pomo Indians funded the purchase of an ambulance for local firefighters.
The tribe gave the money to the Nice Fire Department. The old ambulance was about to fall apart, the deputy fire chief said.
The tribe operates a casino on its rancheria.
