An Indian soldier who returned from the Iraqi war and complained of post-traumatic stress claimed self-defense for a fatal shooting in Las Vegas.
Matthew Sepi, 20, made a brief court appearance on Monday. His public defender said he should receive psychological treatment and not be put on trial for shooting a man on the street.
Sepi is Navajo from Winslow, Arizona. Six family members, including his mother, came from Arizona for the court hearing.
