The Shoshone-Bannock Nation of Idaho joined a number of government agencies and private groups in signing an agreement to remove a dam on the Bear River in Idaho.
The Cove Dam is the smallest of four dams on the river and doesn't supply much power. But removal will help restore runs of salmon, proponents say.
