Store on Navajo Nation robbed twice within 48 hours

A convenience store on the Navajo Nation was robbed twice within 48 hours this past week.
The Thriftway convenience in Shiprock, New Mexico, was first robbed at 3:15 a.m. on Monday, July 4. Navajo Nation police are looking for a man described as Native American.
The store was robbed again sometime between midnight and 1 a.m. on Wednesday.
Navajo Nation police arrested a man and charged him with armed robbery, aggravated assault, threatening and unlawful carrying and use of a weapon. Federal charges are pending.
