Update: Jim Cason appeared on the program for about 45 minutes. Most of the discussion focused on Indian gaming, including off-reservation gaming. Cason also addressed the trust fund, saying there is no factual basis for a $27 billion settlement. Elouise Cobell appeared for about 40 minutes and talking about her lawsuit, saying Cason was "misleading" Congress and the public about the extent of the government's mismanagement.

Elouise Cobell, the lead plaintiff in the trust fund lawsuit, and Jim Cason, the associate deputy secretary at the Interior Department, will appear on the C-SPAN program, "Washington Journal," this morning.
Cason is scheduled to appear first at 7:45am. Cobell will appear, via satellite from Montana, at 9:15am.
The show will focus on the Cobell v. Norton lawsuit and other Interior Department issues. A live feed can be accessed at http://www.c-span.org The program appears on the main C-SPAN channel.
