Haskell Indian Nations University will be handing out degrees to 170 students during commencement exercises on Friday.
More than 2,000 people are expected to attend the ceremony on Friday morning. It will be followed by a powwow on Friday and Saturday.
During the ceremony, Haskell will present a "Friend of Haskell" award to Jessie Branson, a former state legislator. Honorary high school diplomas will be presented to George Whitewater and Donald Hughes, who left school to join the military.
